Congratulations to Adam Clements, who wins this year's championship by 1 game over Travis Jones!!! Adam's prize is a virtual trip to the 2012 Super Bowl, all virtual expenses virtually paid. (Runner-up prize for Travis is all the virtual chips he can virtually eat.) The "old guard" - Bob & Bill - took it on the chin this year, but we'll be back! If we had a "points" championship, Christy Coleman (who will be Christy Jones by the time of next year's contest) would have won it easily this year. Her average margin missed per game was 9.9, a full point per game better than Adam, who was next at 10.9. And her prediction of Green Bay 31, Pittsburgh 24, just missed the final of 31-25 by 1 point! Way to go, Christy!

*Pts = TIEBREAKER: Points by which player missed margin on all predictions

** This division was necessitated by the use of "unorthodox," or unconventional, methods used by two of our players to predict games. Joanna's "unorthodox" method is to predict the team whose city is first in the alphabet to win by 7 points, but she doesn't predict exact scores. Christy predicts a score, but her "unorthodox" method is to pick the team whose logo she likes best.

(Congratulations to Joanna and Christy - you got your own division!!)

Players listed in the "Orthodox" division, on the other hand, predict the games on the basis of the "orthodox" method, which bases the prediction on numerous factors, such as the talent of the teams, the coaching, the home team, which team is hotter coming in, etc.
